PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure an ink stripe necessary for adjusting rollers mutually by a simple method. SOLUTION: Two mutually contactable rollers 14 to 20 which transfer a substance such as wetting water, and ink are adjusted by using a stripe which is formed on a roller which receives the substance when the rollers 16 and 20 are contacted with each other and is measured thereafter. The rollers 16 and 20, after the stripe being formed, are rotated at a low speed at a position suitable for measuring the stripe on the roller of the receiving side, so that a protective apparatus for a printing machine can be kept in an open state. |
