PURPOSE:To improve a storage efficiency by low arranging a load transfer means to be mounted on the truck of a running gear for entering and leaving a shed driven by a linear motor and by reducing useless space on the shelf side. CONSTITUTION:A pair of left and right guide rails 5a, 5b also used for linear motor secondary conductors are installed along shelves 1, 2 and a load transfer means 9 for transferring a load between the shelves 1 and 2 is mounted on a truck 8 movably supported on both guide rails. while the longitudinally directed one-side ends of a pair of left and right linear motor bodies 10A, 10B facing on respective guide rails 5a, 5b are connected with the end of the truck 8 and respective linear motor bodies 10A, 10B are provided with positioning means 18 for holding these respective linear motor bodies 10A, 10B in predetermined positions relative to the guide rails 5a, 5b. |
