PURPOSE:To embody a stable operation, compact constitution and high reliability in a washing machine provided with a motor having no brush. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a washing machine body 1, water receiving tank 2, washing and dewatering tank 3, rotation transmitting element 4 including a reduction gear, pulsator 5, actuation element 8, controller 9 including a motor driving circuit, radiator 10, cables 11, 12, stator 16, rotor 17, and motor having no brush 21. The motor 21 is set at the center of the tank 3, under the bottom thereof, and hence vibration and noise of the motor can be reduced, and the motor driving circuit, as a heat generating body, is mounted to the stator so that the motor itself can be utilized as a radiator so that an installation space of the washing machine can be made smaller and further, since lead wires of a rotor position sensing element are not exposed to the outside, influence of noise can be eliminated, and hence stable operation, compact construction, and high reliability can be embodied. |
