PURPOSE:To provide such a gravure printing plate and a production method for the gravure printing plate that an offset plate to be used for inspection can be obtd. completely equally to the gravure plate in the process of plate making so that a process of making a film conventionally carried out for inspection of the plate is unnecessary and a gravure plate having high accuracy can be easily produced compared to a conventional gravure plate. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive film 2 is formed by being applied on the plate surface 1, dried, and exposed and developed to form a mesh resist image in the picture part for characters and figures. Thus, a mesh resist image corresponding to the picture part of characters and figures is obtd., on which a chromium plating film 4 is formed. The obtd. plate is used as an offset plate for printing and the printed matter by offset printing is inspected. If the print for inspection is acceptable the resist film is removed and the plate is etched to form a gravure cell 5 to obtain the gravure printing plate. |
