PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink composition which is useful for an image forming of a thermal jet apparatus, surely suppresses of kogation and enables a high- speed and continuous image formation, and to provide an inkset using the same. SOLUTION: In this ink composition, deionized water having >3 kΩ.cm and <=18.3 MΩ.cm specific resistance value, namely water from which various kinds of ions to be the primary factor to cause kogation are removed, is used as a main solvent. Further some kinds of divalent metal ions which cause of kogation is properly selected as an additive for improving ink fixation. |
