PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to exchange individual information by electronically mediating between unknown users without making user's individual information open to the public. SOLUTION: When users A and B set mediation conditions and individual information on their terminals 31-1 and 31-2, mediation agents 34-1 and 34-2 as processes having their information are generated. The mediation agents 34-1 and 34-2 move to a service center 33 through a communication network 32 and exchange information mutually without letting a 3rd party know the individual information. The mediation agents 34-1 and 34-2 having obtained opposite-user's information return to their user terminals and report the results. This service can be used to look for a seller or purchaser of a used article or form a group of users who have the same purpose. |
