Protective device, for creating wind-sheltered area in structures exposed to built-up air

The surface component (16,18,20,22) channel the accumulated air in the exposed area and are arranged parallel to the passing direction of the air, in the passing area (12), spaced from the exposed structure (10) by a gap. The surface component is so formed that the built-up air is fed to the gap. At least one surface component is arranged vertically and at least one is arranged horizontally. The surface components are arranged parallel to the surface(s) of the exposed structure. The dimensions of the gap(s), the surface components and their ends at the front and back area, are optimised using fluid mechanics engineering approach.
