PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealant application device for a battery case can in which sealant can be applied by only using a single sealant application nozzle at a high productivity and favorably. SOLUTION: Battery can cases 12 are detachably and rotatably supported on battery case installation parts 11 provided along an outer circumferentiual surface of a rotary table 9 which is continuously rotated. At a sealant application position 40, a sealant injection nozzle 14 is rotatably provided to be positioned in such a direction as to apply sealant to the battery case 12 from above. As the rotary table 9 is rotated, rotation force is provided from a rotation force providing means 41 to the battery case can 12 reaching the sealant application position 40. By a nozzle rotation control means, the sealant injection nozzle 4 is rotated to follow the battery case can 12 being moved by the rotary table 9. By a control device, sealant is injected for a specified time form the sealant injection nozzle 14 which is rotating by the nozzle rotation control means.
