PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the compression, transfer and reproduction of digitized and sampled image data for a much data amount. SOLUTION: The image data (a gradation value) sampled as the digital data sequence of a line image are divided into the equal number of pixel sequences on the memory of a computer. The time series of chaos, for which branching occurs every time, are quantized and prepared as a data base. The data base is retrieved in advance and plural internal states backward to the past for certain discrete time are collected as arrangement from the high level to the low level. The compression code of one bit is allocated for the section for which the gradation value has no change of upper limit or lower limit along the line image. In the section where there is any change in the gradation value, the internal state before backward moving is replaced with the input code or its inverse and defined as the compression code. The transferred compression code is reproduced through the inverse process of compression. |
