PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for performing a procedure for a repair request without giving a user trouble when an automobile breaks down, and to provide various on-vehicle apparatus and a portable telephone used in the system. SOLUTION: This system comprises an on-vehicle apparatus provided with a failure detecting means, an on-vehicle device for managing vehicle information, a radio connectable portable telephone in addition, and a response center for receiving and arranging vehicle repair/maintenance. When the on-vehicle apparatus detects a failure, the on-vehicle device attaches the user ID of the user and makes a repair request to the response center by radio communication, and the response center sends for failure correspondence information from a vehicle maker on the basis of the request and arranges a repair request together with the failure correspondence information to a repair shop. |
