PURPOSE: A pronunciation practice device for foreign language is provided to compare a standard sound with a learning sound by a characteristic parameter, to display the difference through a tutor window, a user window and a connection window, to calculate an evaluation point by the difference, and to display the point through a point window. CONSTITUTION: A storage media driver(1) plays the standard sound by driving the storage media storing the standard sound. A sound input part(2) inputs the learning sound of a learner. A sound processing part(3) detects the characteristic parameter for the learning sound and the standard sound and calculates the evaluation point. A sound output part(4) outputs the learning sound and the standard sound. An input/output interface(6) processes a signal inputted by the learner through a learner input part(5) consisting of a keyboard and a mouse. A memory(7) stores the detected characteristic parameter. A display(8) displays the evaluation point. An auxiliary storing device(9) stores a linguistic pronunciation learning program. A CPU(10) controls each component by the linguistic pronunciation learning program. |
