PURPOSE: A method of setting up a call by a service option conversion function is provided to omit unnecessary command/responding procedures between a mobile terminal and a network interworking device in a call setup step, thereby reducing a call setup time and indicating an error of an international standard. CONSTITUTION: When a fax 2 picks up a telephone receiver, a telephone becomes an off-hook state(S301), and listens to a dial tone(S302) to press a telephone number of a receiver(S303). If a fax 2 user inputs the telephone number(S303), a signal is transmitted to a base station/exchange station/network interworking device(S304). A voice call received in a mobile terminal is transmitted to a fax 1 connected with the mobile terminal, and the fax 1 rings(S305). When the fax 1 is in an off-hook state(S306), the terminal gives a connection command to the base station/exchange station/network interworking device(S307) to connect the voice call(S308). The fax 2 transmits a CNG(Calling tone) to the fax 1(S309), and the fax 1 transmits a CED(Called Station Identification)(S310). The base station/exchange station/network interworking device passes through a conversion process to an analog fax call(C2). The fax 1 periodically transmits a preamble signal with information of a receiving fax to the mobile terminal(S311). The terminal transmits a command to the base station/exchange station/network interworking device(S313), and receives maximum message rate information(S314), then transmits information on the receiving fax to the base station/exchange station/network interworking device(S315). The base station/exchange station/network interworking device transmits the information to complete a call connection(S316). |
