PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic musical instrument which can perform minus one musical performance making an arbitrary part as a mute part and can specify a sound of a sound region of a mute part with key device having less keys. SOLUTION: An electronic musical instrument automatically playing plural parts has an operation panel 14 selecting an arbitrary part out of plural parts, and is constituted so that automatic musical performance is performed by muting a sound of a part selected by an operation panel 14. Also, this device is an electronic musical instrument performing automatic musical performance by muting a sound of a specific part, an octave code of a sound based on automatic musical performance data of a specific part read out from a memory 17 is stored in a memory 12, when playing is specified by a key device 16, a sound of an musical interval decided by the octave code stored in the memory 12 and a sound specified by the key device 16 is generated. |
