PURPOSE: A flat display panel and a driving method thereof are provided, which can improve the uniformity of a cell. CONSTITUTION: A scan pulse(SP) of a negative polarity is supplied to scan electrodes(S) of a FED(Field Emission Display), and a data pulse(DP) of a positive polarity synchronized to the scan pulse is supplied to data electrodes(D). After the data pulse is supplied to the data electrode, a reset pulse(RP) is supplied to all scan electrodes. The reset pulse is supplied during a blanking period between scan pulses. Thus, charges charged in all scan electrodes are removed when the first scan electrode(S1) is driven.
