<p>The invention concerns a remote user information system for public transport units, characterised in that each public transport unit is equipped with a radio transmitter (12) transmitting in audio frequency data concerning, in particular, the public transport network and the user is equipped with a first radio receiver (32) for receiving the transmitter (12) radio broadcasts and a second radio receiver (40) for receiving radio broadcasts from radio broadcasting networks. A switch (48) is provided to enable the user to select one or the other receiver. The invention is applicable in urban public transport.</p> |
