PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition excellent in detergency and good in feeling of use by including a specific polyoxyethylene alkyl ether phosphate and sodium lauryl sul fate. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by including (A) a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether phosphate represented by the formula [R is an alkyl or an alkylallyl; (n) is the number of added mol of ethylene oxide; R' is H or R(CH2CH2O)n] or its sodium salt and (B) sodium lauryl sulfate. In the above ingredient A, (n) is preferably 6-10 and R is preferably a 12-16C alkyl. In the composition, 0.01-1 wt.% of the ingredient A and 0.01-1 wt.% of the ingredient B are preferably contained. When the above composition is a mouthwash, <=10% of ethanol is preferably contained.
