<p>The invention concerns a container loading and unloading assembly comprising a vehicle (1) with a container frame (7) that is attached to the superstructure (6) of the vehicle (1) and a loading and unloading terminal. The pivotable container frame (7) comprises on each longitudinal side a laterally extendable support wheel (11). The loading/unloading terminal comprising a drive-on drive-off platform (20) and a floor (21) which is at a lower level than the drive-on drive-off platform (20). Above the floor (21), in line with the platform, there is a set of rails (22) on which the support wheels (11) of the container frame (7) can be supported in order to move the vehicle (1) above the floor (21) while supported on the rails (22).</p> |
