SOLUTION: A cross groove joint is adopted as a constant velocity universal coupling 10, a hollow part 72 free to store an inner ring 20 is provided on a companion flange 70, a seal plate 80 is installed in the hollow part 72, and the inner ring 20 is devised to intrude the hollow part 72 by pushing the seal plate 80 away at the time of collision of the automobile on the propeller shaft for the automobile fastening 80 outer ring of the slide type constant velocity universal coupling and the c companion flange 70.
