<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element with high quality, making a display surface free from trouble by restraining short-circuiting between electrodes. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element is composed of an organic layer containing a luminous layer between a lower electrode and an opposing electrode formed on a substrate, and the defective part, generating short-circuiting between the opposing electrodes and the lower electrode, is treated so as to become non-conductive by making at least either the opposing electrodes or the lower electrode contact active gas.</p> |
