PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing controller which can efficiently preserve input image data. SOLUTION: The printing controller for controlling a device printing inputted image data is provided with a flash memory 31, which temporarily stores inputted image data, a memory card preserving image data, an operation key 41 receiving the instruction from an operator and a CPU 30 printing image data stored in the flash memory 31, and deciding whether printing picture data is to be preserved in the memory card according to the instruction from the operation key 41.
