PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an electrolytic capacitor, by which the solid electrolytic capacitor with excellent characteristics can be obtained through a simple manufacturing process. SOLUTION: A capacitor element is formed by winding an anode fail, a cathode foil, and a separator together. In a specific container, a certain amount of polymerizing monomer and a certain amount of oxidizer are put together with a specific solvent and mixed. The capacitor element is dipped in their mixture liquid when they are mixed until the dimerization of the polymerizing monomer advance to >=5%, and a conductive polymer is subjected to polymerization in the capacitor element to form a solid electronic layer. This capacitor element is inserted into an external case to complete the solid electrolytic capacitor.
