摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium which improves recording and reproducing characteristics by realizing sufficient beam-condensing characteristics and light intensity, an optical information processor and an optical recording and reproducing method. SOLUTION: An optical disk 1 is the optical recording medium which has a recording layer 13 and is recorded with information three-dimensionally in the surface direction and thickness direction of the recording layer 13. The recording layer 13 includes a thermochromic material which discolor reversibly according to temperatures. The thermochromic material converts absorbed light to heat, further increases the absorptivity of the light with an increase in the temperature and further reversibly changes to the material which does not discolor according to a change in the temperature and has translucency when the temperature rises to the first prescribed temperature. The recording layer 13 of such optical disk 1 develops colors and increases the absorptivity of the light only in the positions where the emitted light condenses and therefore the recording and reproducing of the information are carried out by utilizing this nature.
