PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic sound field correction device and a sound field correction method that can reduce the effect due to dissidence of phases among a plurality of speakers so as to provide a sound field space with high quality. SOLUTION: The automatic sound field correction device applying signal processing to each of audio signals on a signal transmission line corresponding to each of them and outputting the processed signal to a plurality of corresponding speakers, is provided with an equalizer that adjusts a frequency characteristic of the audio signal on each signal transmission line, a measurement signal supply means that supplies a measurement signal to each signal transmission line, a sound collection means that detects the measurement signal sound emitted from the speaker and outputs a detection signal, and a gain decision means that decides a gain of the equalizer used by the equalizer to adjust the frequency characteristic and supplies the gain to the equalizer. The gain decision means determines the same equalizer gain for a plurality of the signal transmission lines the audio signal phases of which are to be matched. |
