PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a protective tube efficiently on a wire harness branching point. SOLUTION: The protective tube 10 is formed by connecting, with a hinge section 10c, one end of a main line tube section 10a, to be covered over the main line K at the branching point of the wire harness W/H, to one end of the branch line tube section 10b, to be covered over the branch line S at the branching point; at the same time a slit 10f is provided in the main line direction of the main line tube section 10a. The protective tube 10 is installed by installing the branch line tube section 10b from the hinge section 10c side to the branching point of the branch line S, while at the same time installing the main line tube section 10a over the main line K by opening the slit 10f. The periphery of the main line tube section 10a is wrapped with tape to fasten the protective tube 10. |
