PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hedge trimmer having good cutting quality and easily adjusting a turn-neck angle. SOLUTION: This hedge trimmer has trimming blades of a clippers type paired with the upper and lower blades, having a front edge and a back edge whose cutting edges are inverted to each other and a plurality of almost trapezoid plane edge parts arranged on one side or both the sides of a base body in a straight line at intervals, a trimmer main body sustaining the trimming blade and having a driving source for performing trimming through reciprocating at least one side of the blade before and after to put between the edge parts each of the blades, and a grip connected through a swing mechanism to the trimmer main body in a freely turn-neck manner and supporting the trimmer main body together with the blades in an arbitrary turn-neck angle.
