The clipboard (9), to hold sheets of paper etc., has a clip to hold them in place. The clip is of a spring plastics material, in a U-shape (2) to pass around the upper edge of the clipboard. The under side of the clipboard has a recess (11) to accommodate the lower leg of the clip, which has an inner projection (4) to lock into a second recess (12). The full thickness (14) of the clipboard prevents the clip leg and projection from slipping out of place.
