PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stringer by which a simple structural and safe handrail precedent construction method cam be easily executed, prefabricated scaffolding, a brace with handrail, and installation method of head rope installation member and the prefabricated scaffolding. SOLUTION: The prefabricated scaffolding 1 is constituted by vertically connecting a plurality of connected stringer assembly 8 provided with a plurality of stringers 2 parallelly arranged with a horizontal specified separate distance, braces 9 fitted so as to connect adjacent stringers 2, braces 10 with handrails and lodgers 11. In the stringer 2, the horizontal levels of a pair of posts 3a, 3b are made different and these are connected by horizontal beams. As one side pair 3a of the posts always forming pair is constituted protrusively, the pair is used for the post for the handrail, Accordingly, the precedent handrail can be installed with ease without using a complicated structural handrail member by using the said post for the handrail.
