PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a handrail of sufficiently curing an opening part, in a temporary handrail for stairs. SOLUTION: In this temporary handrail for curing the opening part for the stairs, the temporary handrail 1 for the stairs is composed of a backing plate 4 held by a pipe support 2 for supporting a form and a slab form 3 supported by the pipe support, a supporting sheath pipe 5 having one end part fixed so as to communicate with a through-hole bored in the backing plate 4 and having the other end part suspended in the downward direction, a batter brace support pipe 6 positioned in a lower end part of the sheath pipe, connecting one side end part, having the other side end part slantingly arranged toward the pipe support and expandably setting the length, a support base part 7 engaging with the batter brace support pipe and detachably locked on the pipe support, a column 8 inserted into the supporting sheath pipe, and a handrail 9 temporarily arranged on the column.
