PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band feeder in a strapping-packing machine capable of reliably preventing a tip of a band from slipping out of the band feeder when pulling back the band during a trouble. SOLUTION: In the band feeder, a first feed roller consisting of a pair of a driver roller 51 and a nip roller 52 pressed against it, a second feed roller consisting of a pair of a drive roller 53 and a magnet roller 54 pressed against it, and a pair of a large-diameter wheel 55 and a follower roller 56 pressed against it are arranged in this order. The opening/closing operation of the first feed roller is interlocked with the opening/closing operation of the second feed roller via a link mechanism, and the rotational direction of the drive roller 51 of the first feed roller is set to be only one direction.
