HIGH LUMINANCE DISCHARGE LAMP AND IRRADIATION DEVICE USING THE HIGH LUMINANCE DISCHARGE LAMP

A high luminance discharge lamp and an irradiation device using the same are provided to reduce largely a total size by irradiating light of different wavelengths in the same direction. A first transparent dielectric tube(1) is filled with a first discharge emitting medium(A). A common electrode(2) is used as a common electrode of the first discharge emitting medium and a second discharge emitting medium(B). A transparent dielectric tube(3) is used for pressing and sealing the common electrode. A second transparent dielectric tube(4) is filled with the second discharge emitting medium. An electrode(5) is used as an electrode for the first discharge emitting medium. An electrode(6) is used as an electrode for the second discharge emitting medium.
