PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator with a detachable automatic ice making machine capable of preventing water supply operation when an ice making tray is removed. SOLUTION: This refrigerator is provided with an ice making stop command means 26 for stopping ice making control and making a state to be in an ice making tray removing standby state when the ice making tray is removed from an ice separation mechanism 8, and an ice making stop release means 27 for releasing the ice making stop state and restarting ice making control when the removed ice making tray is attached to the ice separation mechanism 8 again. Therefore, water supply operation is not performed when the ice making tray is removed, and the situation that an ice storage container is flooded and an integrated block of ice cubes is obtained can be prevented.
