<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cash register system for motivating a customer to carry a shopping bag while relaxing the dissatisfaction of the customer by eliminating a direct money payment for the use of a plastic bag by the customer when the charging of the plastic bag is introduced. <P>SOLUTION: This cash register system is provided with: a reading means for reading the identification information of a customer who performs the fare adjustment of a commodity purchase price; an inquiry means for making inquiry for the service point balance of the customer based on the identification information; a point arithmetic means for performing the fare adjustment of the plastic bag purchase price by subtracting the number of service points equivalent to the plastic bag purchase price of the customer from a service point balance; and an updating means for updating the service point balance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
