<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate the system start of a vehicle without being accompanied by the start of an internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: An input from a motor traveling switch 74 is input to a power source ECU 60 and an HVECU 50, and the input of a motor traveling switch 74 is accepted before the system start by a power source ECU 60, and when the system is started up in such a status that a motor traveling signal is turned on according to the operation of the motor traveling switch 74, the system is started without starting an engine 32.
