<p>Method for protection reverse policy, which includes: making performance detection and failure detection for the first transmitting entity transmitting the service; and making performance detection and failure detection for the second transmitting entity that does not transmit the service; making protection reverse policy according to the result of the performance detection and the result of the failure detection for the first transmitting entity and the second transmitting entity. The embodiments of this invention also disclose a system of performance detection. With the embodiments of this invention, it can make performance detection for the transmitting entity that does not transmit the service, and prevent service from invalid reversing in the protection reverse policy, thus improve the service quality.</p>
