<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate demerits of the conventional technique by introducing a method which uses a constituent member existing in an ordinary direct injection engine. <P>SOLUTION: A method facilitates the fuel vaporization in the direct injection 4-stroke engine comprising at least one cylinder (10) having a combustion chamber (18), at least one fluid sucking means having a suction pipe (20) and a valve (22), at least one combustion gas exhausting means having an exhaust pipe (24) and a valve (26), valve controlling means (28) and (30), and a fuel injecting means (32). The method includes a process to open the suction valve (22) in such a way as feeding the sucked fluid into the combustion chamber immediately before the start of the suction stroke and opening the exhaust valve (26) in such a way as feeding at least a part of the combustion gas in the exhaust pipe (20) again into the combustion chamber, a process to close the exhaust valve before the suction stroke is ended, a process to close the suction valve immediately before the suction stroke is ended, and a process to make fuel injection at least one time into the combustion chamber during the suction stroke. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
