<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface mounting device which stably sucks and mounts large components by using only normal nozzles without using exclusive nozzles that correspond to the large component. <P>SOLUTION: The surface mounting device is provided with nozzles for sucking a component, a head unit 12 provided with the nozzles, an X/Y direction driving means 14 for driving the head unit 12 in a plane direction, and an image recognition device 18 for performing image recognition by imaging the component sucked by the nozzles. The device is characterized by having a plurality of the nozzles for simultaneously sucking the component, and a centering stage 16 that is rotated so as to adjust the direction of the component placed thereon by being simultaneously sucked by the plurality of nozzles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
