<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the article storage structure of a packaging box for easily storing and keeping a cold preserving material and other supplies. <P>SOLUTION: In forming the article storage structure of this cubic or rectangular parallelepiped packing box, each side of a square or a rectangular bottom panel 2 is formed continuously with peripheral walls 3a, 3b, 6a, 6b able to be folded up, a top panel 4 is formed continuously on the top end of one of the peripheral walls 3a, 3b, 6a, 6b and a part of the peripheral wall is formed continuously and partially openable/closable for forming an openable/closable opening. The peripheral wall structuring the open/close cover of the opening comprises an inside cover 9a joined either to the bottom panel 2 or the top panel 4 and the outside cover 6a formed on the other. A spare space S which is a space for storing a cold preserving material 51 or other supplies is formed between the cover 9a and the cover 6a in the cover closed condition.
