<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce waveform distortion in outputs while relaxing band limitation of inputs, in the configuration where a current voltage conversion gain is controlled. <P>SOLUTION: An optical receiver 1 comprises: an amplifier 4 in which a current signal I<SB>IN</SB>from a photodiode 2 is inputted; and a plurality of feedback resistor parts 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d, and 5e connected in parallel between an input terminal 3a and an output terminal 3b of the amplifier 4. The feedback resistor part 5a which is one of the feedback resistor parts 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d, and 5e, consists of resistors R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>. Other feedback resistor parts 5b, 5c, 5d, and 5e comprise semiconductor switches SW<SB>1</SB>, SW<SB>2</SB>, SW<SB>3</SB>, and SW<SB>4</SB>, as well as resistors so connected in series to the semiconductor switches SW<SB>1</SB>, SW<SB>2</SB>, SW<SB>3</SB>, and SW<SB>4</SB>, as to sandwich the semiconductor switches SW<SB>1</SB>, SW<SB>2</SB>, SW<SB>3</SB>, and SW<SB>4</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
