<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive recorder setting method that can increase the degree of freedom in mounting a drive recorder. <P>SOLUTION: The method for setting a drive recorder 2 is characterized by comprising an acceleration sensor 5 for detecting first acceleration in a first direction of a vehicle 1 and second acceleration in a second direction of the vehicle, determining the stop of the vehicle, detecting the first acceleration and second acceleration at the start of the vehicle after the stop of the vehicle, and determining acceleration in the lateral direction of the vehicle and acceleration in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle based on the first acceleration and second acceleration at the start of the vehicle after the stop of the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
