<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AC generator 1 for a vehicle in which the faucet end face 19 of a frame 9 and both end faces of the sheet external end 6 of a stator core 3 are made to face-contact with each other, and which maintains an axial fixing force, is achieved in excellent vibration resistance performance, and hardly causes deterioration in performance. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of slits 14 are radially press-molded at the sheet external end 6 of a steel sheet 11, divided back parts 15 circumferentially divided by the slits 14 are formed, a recess 16 is formed in the same position as a position of a slit valley in the radial direction at the substantially central position of each divided back part 15, the circumferential length of a core back part 5 is elongated by thinning the core back part 5 in a plate thickness direction in a succeeding winding process to facilitate winding work, the divided back parts 15 are formed into flat shapes, and the outside diameter of the wound and laminated stator core 3 is formed into a prescribed shape by ironing molding, thus forming the stator core 3 which has both the end faces orthogonal to the axial direction with the divided back parts 15 flatly aligned. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
