PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine which can enhance players' interests during the normal game. SOLUTION: In the pachinko game machine, the specified game execution means starts the time shortening state after the end of the execution of a special game to be made when win is earned as the result of the win/loss lottery. The specified game execution means ends the time shortening state when the frequency of variably displaying special figures reaches the first upper limit or a new special game is executed to meet the requirements for ending. The specified game execution means ends the time shortening state even before the meeting of the ending requirements when loss is hit as the result of the win/loss lottery while the frequency of the selection of a prescribed variation pattern reaches the second upper limit. When the prescribed variation pattern is selected, a performance display control means makes a performance display device display the performance content suggesting the frequency of the selection.
