A system and method for route guide using information traffic in shadow area reception GPS are provided to effectively search the driving route by using the virtual driving mode. A method for route guide using information traffic in shadow area reception GPS comprises 4 steps. The first step(S200, S210) is performed in order to convert the location of the position of the vehicles into the virtual driving mode from the GPS reception status in the GPS shadow region. The second step(S220) is performed in order to judge the existence of the traffic information. The third step(S230) is performed in order to enforce the virtual driving mode according to is the traffic information. The fourth stage(S240 to 260) is performed in order to release from the virtual driving mode by comparing the GPS information with the location estimation information. The system comprises the receiver, the memory, and the controller and the display unit. |
