摘要 A prepreg for manufacturing a fibre-reinforced composite material, the prepreg comprising a layer of a layer of fibrous reinforcement fully impregnated by a matrix resin material, wherein at least the surface of the resin material has a viscosity and a tack at room temperature, and each prepreg has a stiffness at room temperature, such that when two of the prepregs are disposed as a vertical stack thereof at room temperature with adjacent resin material surfaces, the adjacent resin material surfaces are unadhered and form continuous air paths therebetween. Also disclosed in a prepreg comprising a layer of a layer of fibrous reinforcement fully impregnated by a matrix resin material, wherein the surface of the resin has a phase angle delta between the complex modulus G* and the storage modulus G' and wherein the value of delta increases by at least 25°C over the temperature range 10-25°C. For preference the resin is an epoxy. Preferably the air paths are formed by contacting the prepreg with an embossed liner sheet so as to emboss the paths into the resin. The prepreg may also be formed with either a single resin, or with a sandwich resin of an outer, first resin and a second, inner resin with a viscosity lower than that of the first resin.
