摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fault diagnosis apparatus configured to accurately diagnose a fault in a power generation facility in a short learning period, and a fault diagnosis method.SOLUTION: A weighting coefficient calculation section 8 includes a prediction model generation section 10, a prediction value calculation section 12, and a fault diagnosis section 14. The weighting coefficient calculation section 8 calculates a weighting coefficient indicating a relationship between a distribution of a weather parameter in a learning period and a distribution of a weather parameter in a diagnosis period. A prediction model generation section 10 generates a prediction model of the quantity of power to be generated in the diagnosis period, on the basis of the weather parameter in the learning period, the quantity of power generated in a power generation facility in the learning period, and the weighting coefficient. A prediction value calculation section 12 calculates a prediction value of the quantity of power generated in the diagnosis period, on the basis of the prediction model and the weather parameter in the diagnosis period. The fault diagnosis section 14 compares the prediction value of the quantity of power generated in the diagnosis period with the quantity of power generated in the diagnosis period, to determine a fault of the power generation facility.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
