PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device with which an operation error of a detector due to the tilt of the plane of polarization of light reflected from an optical disk can be prevented. SOLUTION: The optical pickup device, in which at least a first laser light source, a half mirror, a dichroic prism, a reflection mirror, a dichroic filter, and a second laser light source which emits a light beam having a wavelength different from that of the first laser light source onto the reflection mirror via the dichroic prism are arranged at a prescribed distances, is characterized in that a circular polarized light is generated by using a prism with a phase difference control film as the reflection mirror. |
