PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shovel that a turning operation by a turning electric motor in a composite operation is performed more stably like a turning operation by a turning hydraulic motor.SOLUTION: A shovel according to an embodiment of the present invention has: a lower traveling body 1; an upper turning body 3 mounted on the lower traveling body 1; a turning electric motor 21 which makes the upper turning body 3 turn; a boom 4 fitted to the upper turning body 3; a boom cylinder 7 which allows the boom 4 to operate; and a controller 30 which controls motion of the turning electric motor 21. A controller 30 determines a limit value of angular acceleration of the turning electric motor 21 on the basis of an operation state of the boom 4 at a start of a turning acceleration operation by a turning operation lever.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
