PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a falling prevention structure of a snap ring capable of being easily assembled with a simple structure and surely preventing falling of a snap ring, and a frictional engagement device including the snap ring.SOLUTION: Since a falling prevention structure 40 of a snap ring of a frictional engagement device 10 is configured such that between an inside surface 23a of a projection part 23 of an end plate 22c and an outer peripheral surface 24a of a snap ring 24, an annular member 42 is provided separately from the end plate 22c, the falling prevention structure is easily assembled with a simple structure. When the snap ring 24 is opened by centrifugal force, the outer peripheral surface 24a of the snap ring 24 contacts with a snap ring contact part 42a, and the snap ring 24 can be prevented from further being opened.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
