PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor compressor for actualizing a mechanism to prevent access to the internal of an inverter in the state that power is applied thereto, in a simple configuration.SOLUTION: The motor compressor includes a housing 112 storing a compression mechanism part and an electric motor, an inverter to which direct-current power is supplied from the external in the state that the motor compressor is mounted to an engine 51, and which converts the direct-current power into alternating-current power to be applied to the electric motor, an inverter cover 31 mounted to the housing 112 to form a space storing the inverter together with the housing 112, a vehicle-mounted bolt 71 for fastening the motor compressor to the engine 51, and a mounting bolt 61 having a shaft part 62 to be inserted through the inverter cover 31 for fastening the inverter cover 31 to the housing 112, the mounting bolt 61 being arranged to overlap with the vehicle-mounted bolt 71 in view from the axial direction of the shaft part 62.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
