PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical observation device that allows entire shooting time to be shortened in an optical observation device repeatedly shooting an observation image of an observed object at a plurality of positions.SOLUTION: An optical observation device according to the present invention has: an image formation optical system that image-forms light from an observed object loaded on a sample stage; movement information holding means that holds movement information about a movement sequence to a plurality of relative positions and each relative position of the sample stage with respect to the image formation optical system; movement means that moves the sample stage to the plurality of relative positions in accordance with the sequence, and immobilizes the sample stage at each relative position; shooting data acquisition means that continuously acquires shooting data on an observation image to be obtained by the image formation optical system at a time interval shorter than any of movement time of the sample stage to between each relative position and still time thereof at each still position; and distinction information giving means that gives the shooting data distinction information for distinguishing between the shooting data taken at timing when the sample stage is moving and the shooting data taken at timing when the sample stage stays still.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
