The present invention relates to a device providing content to a user, the device providing content of interest of a user comprising: a content of interest analysis unit extracting content of interest of a user from a database by using user information of the user or activity information of the user, a preference for a content provided on a service used by a plurality of users, and user characteristics analyzed according to content usage characteristics of a user group corresponding to the user information; a search unit searching the content of interest of the user from an external database through the analyzed user characteristics; and a provision unit providing the extracted content of interest of the user and the searched content of interest of the user. |
